I love this place! Great service and a prime rib dinner that mentally takes me back to growing up in Vegas. The atmosphere is dark, could be a romantic date or in our case just a family staple... Feels like a home away from home.

What a great restaurant. I lived in Denver 12 years and I never made it here. If you get a side, the sweet potato fries are the bomb. My friend had potato skins and my other friend had the prime rib. American elegance!

Poppies is our kind of casual dining spot. A menu full of comfort food options with libations to match. I had enchiladas, fantastic. Service was very good. It was busy, the noise level typical of casual ambiance, the midpoint between an Irish pub & a popular neighborhood Italian eatery. We most certainly will go again with friends. If you're up for casual dining my rating is 5 stars.

Busy lunch great menu quickly seated. Had the walleye very good tasty rice was perfect service fast efficient and knowledgeable what more could I ask for?

Fresh, high quality food! Lorri was a great server. Our orders came out perfectly and fairly quickly. She refilled our drinks without us having to ask. She was really nice and accommodating to my vegetarian diet requests. Looking forward to eating at Poppie's again soon. Our meals: 1. Grilled salmon and rice pilaf Club soda with lime Vanilla ice cream 2. Sandwich with tomato, lettuce and avocado on toasted sourdough and French fries Club soda with lime Diet Coke I love sitting in the mahogany booths. Very cozy atmosphere.

When they say lounge, they mean, lounge! The ambiance inside is dim and moody, with cozy booths and ambient red lighting. It felt like I was transported back in time and the bar was quite lively. The service was nice, not overly attentive but helpful when asked. We had a variety of food at the table. The sweet potato fries were possibly the best I've ever had. The Tuscan chicken bowl has the potential to be better, they didn't drain the quinoa very well so it was liquidy and lacked flavor. The bbq ribs were fantastic, falling off of the bone and juicy. The sandwiches were good, nothing extraordinary, but a reliable menu item. The schnitzel was tasty, the mushroom sauce was delicious, the cabbage was a bit mushy and I wouldn't recommend it alone. When paired in a bite with the schnitzel it was a nice flavor add.

I really enjoyed my experience at this place! Great service, staff all teamed up to provide quick and effective guest care at all points. The veggie burger plus avocado and was tasty and the fries were fresh cut and homemade. Food was hot, fresh, reasonably priced, and tasty! It was also way too much food for me in the best way possible. Toasted bun, all the best burger fixings, perfect custom order. I'll definitely be back!
